What to write about
I read every message that arrives at the email above. The ones I reply to fastest are specific. If you are hiring, say what the role is, what the team builds, and whether it is remote or in Southern California. If you want to talk about Chalky, Uniwise, or one of the projects on this site, link to the page you mean and ask the actual question.
I am most useful for product-minded engineering work: AI features that need structured outputs and guardrails, backend APIs in Python and FastAPI, native iOS apps in SwiftUI, and the research and design work that comes before any of that. The about page has the longer version.
Please do not send unsolicited sales pitches, recruiting mass-mailers, or requests to add links to this site. Those do not get a reply.
